Psychology Honours is offered on-campus in Australia and South Africa ( full-time and part-time) and in Singapore (part-time via TMC). There is a possibility that it also be available in Off-Campus Learning mode, although this option is yet to receive final approval. Course work classes are held at the Caulfield and Clayton campuses.  Supervision of the research project can be with a School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine staff member located at any campus.

  • A requirement for completion of the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology in off-campus learning mode is that students undertake four residential schools of five days duration over the two year course. Results Permission Forms are so we can obtain your results if you're completing this semester.  If you are currently completing undergraduate studies in Psychology, please provide us with details regarding the Third Year Coordinator and/or Admin. Officer in your School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine on the attached Results Permission Form A, so that we may obtain your second semester results when they become available.
  5. Under privacy legislation, if you are currently completing undergraduate studies in Psychology at an institution other than Monash University you must complete Results Permission Form B and give it to the Third Year Coordinator or Admin. Officer in your School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine, giving them permission to release your results to us for selection purposes.

Your Academic transcript and Results Permission Form (if applicable) must be received by the Fourth Year Administration Assistant (at the address supplied at the end of this application) by no later than Friday 14th NOVEMBER, 2008

Official offers cannot be made until Monash University's School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine receives final results. Selection procedures take place in early December 2008.

First round offers will be made by mid December, initially by telephone. Later offers may be made depending on the availability of places. Candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application by 31 December 2008. If you are selected and unavailable during this time, please arrange for someone to take a phone call and/or open your mail as immediate action on your part will be necessary.

Supervision allocation will be based on your preferences and will be conducted in January 2009.
